My mom is insane.
For anyone that has ever met my mother, you know she’s pretty crazy and a little senile. Lately though, she’s become a lot more strange. Some recent quotes:
Before the maid comes over
“Mom, why are you cleaning the house? The maid is coming over in an hour.”
“Well I don’t want the maid to think we’re a bunch of slobs, so I’m cleaning up before she gets here.”
On relationships
“Aaron, when you get a girlfriend, your father and I want you to be serious, girls your age are only thinking about marriage, so unless you’re planning on proposing to her within a year of starting to date, you’re just wasting your time and hers.”
On laundry
“Aaron, are you doing your laundry?”
“Yes, it’ll be done in 30 minutes.”
“Oh…well…can you do it faster please?”
On moving
“Aaron, I’m a little concerned, how are you planning on paying for your apartment?”
“Well, I’ll just use part of my salary for that.”
“But how are you going to pay for it?”
“Really? I just told you…”
“But how are you going to pay for it?”
“Umm…with money?”
“But Aaron, how are you going to pay for it?”
“Mom…do you even know what you’re trying to ask me?”
“Yes, I don’t know how you’re going to pay for your apartment.”
“Sigh”
My mom is insane.
